Adeline Sham, PhD year 3
Adeline graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Bioengineering from NUS in 2008. She first joined TML in 2007 as an honours student working on in vitro antibody-antigen binding interactions. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in a medical device design project which won a faculty-level innovation award and was a finalist in the IMechE's 19th Annual Medical Engineering Student Project Competition in London. She also undertook an internship under Prof Casey Chan as a patent analyst, during which she gained invaluable experience in intellectual property issues. She is currently a 3rd year PhD student with research interests in tissue engineering, drug delivery, angiogenesis and fibrosis. |
