Paula Benny, Master NUS year 2

paula

Paula graduated from NUS with a Bachelor (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences, and is currently finishing her Master at the Department of Biochemistry of NUS.

She gathered a strong experience in tissue engineering since 2007, studying crowding in fibroblasts and its effect on extra-cellular matrix deposition in vitro (TML) along with crowding in keratinocytes in 2D and 3D model systems (Institute of Medical Biology). She is now working on the effects of macromolecular crowding on mesenchymal and epithelial cells.
